Peterborough Waste Management Limited is proud to sponsor Aaron Williamson in the 2008 Ginetta Junior Championships. Aaron was successful in the Citroen Saxo Championship in 2007 and has stepped into the Ginetta Juniors for 2008. We wish Aaron all the best for the season and will be supporting him all the way, in every round. The Playstation backed Ginetta Junior series was introduced in 2003 for racers aged 14 - 16 years old as a natural progression route from kart racing. The affordable one make series with sealed Ford Zetech 1.4 litre engines, ensures safe, controlled racing with tubular steel chassis, full integral FIA approved roll cage and fibre-glass shell. The 2006 season comprised of twelve rounds over six weekends at some of the UK's favorite circuits such as Silverstone and Brands Hatch. Supported events include the Dunlop Great & British, BARC and F3/GT and most events were covered by Sky Sports television. In 2007, the series predominantly supported the televised Dunlop Great and British package. A 15 minute qualifying session determines grid positions for the weekend's two races. A driver's fastest lap in this time is taken into account for race one's grid, whilst their second fastest lap relates to their starting position for race 2. This years series will feature on the same bill as the British Touring Car Championship and will be broadcast LIVE on ITV4.
